Triland Metals

I have worked with Triland Metals since 2007, and our relationship is still going strong.

Triland Metals is the non-ferrous metals trading arm of Mitsubishi Corporation.

They called me in January 2007, initially to do a marketing audit with a view to refreshing their website and literature.

The audit identified that what Triland needed wasn’t just new collateral but a complete identity refresh. So, together with Stuart Redfern of Redfern Design, we developed a new identity, a strapline, a colour palette and a complete set of brand guidelines. Then we rolled out the website, brochure, stationery and signage to show off the new identity to its best advantage.

Since then we have created several sub-brands, for the overseas offices and the on-line trading system, and we are still responsible for all their marketing collateral and website.

We brought in Inflection initially because we felt we needed a new website and some marketing collateral. However, a few meetings later and we decided to refresh our brand identity, and completely overhaul the way we presented ourselves to our customers and the marketplace. Within a relatively short space of time we had new signage, new stationery, brochures and a website, all reflecting our new identity. We have been thrilled with the difference Infection has made to the value of our brand.
