Brampton Little Theatre

We created a website for Brampton's Little Theatre, a perfect but tiny theatre which is under threat of demolition.

A website to create awareness and showcase productions

The theatre has always struggled with self-promotion because it is based on an RAF Station. For this reason many people living nearby didn't even know it existed. With the RAF Station destined for sale for redevelopment, the theatre was facing a crisis and raising awareness became of critical importance.

We created a website to help disseminate information about the cause as well as showcasing the work and history of the theatre and promoting future productions. We were presented with a wealth of material - including posters, programmes and photos of past productions (over fifty years' worth!) as well as all the campaign materials for the Save the Theatre action group.

Creating web-friendly copy

We devised a site architecture that was intuitive and easy to use and converted all the existing materials into web-friendly copy and usable images. The result is a site which is easily navigable and which provides a comprehensive guide to the theatre past, present and future.

Accessible and Popular

Only a couple of weeks after launch the website was appearing at number two in the Google search rankings (it is now at the top), and we have had visitors from four countries, including the US and Finland. All are agreed that the site really does the theatre justice.
